Ready, Set

Ready! Waiting for the “Go!” for NaNoWriMo. I will surely be poised with fingers over the keyboard by 11:59pm tonight, watching the clock.

Am I really ready?

Scrivener, check. Update on desktop and laptop both. I love this program. It flexes as a writing vehicle from training wheels to jet propelled cycle. My first NaNo I used training wheels with it. Now I’m using it as a scooter. I can’t wait to figure out how to jet propel it, but that will come as I write.

Outline, check. This is the most thorough outline I’ve ever written. That’s probably a good thing since this one involves characters from two different story lines and a major clash of cultures.

Inspirations, check. Playlists for inspiration are ready. I have ones for each of the characters, the story itself, and writing in general. My stories and novels this one follows are on hand for character inspirations.

Cheerleaders, check. I have several friends who know what I’m doing and are cheering me on. If I get down on my writing or distracted from my goal, they’ll get me going in the right direction.
